I realize the "Listening Sessions" are still quite new, but they had become a place where comments could actually be DISCUSSED with Board members. I was disappointed that this time the sessions reverted back to the old public comment format with no discussion at all.
It will depend, in part, on getting more people to sign up for them. Of course, the fact that they are called "listening sessions" means that the intent was not really to foster discussion. Some board members have done so but that was not the original idea. It would be nice to see them develop into an opportunity for real dialog.
