Do you know what the very last vote was about? It was at the very end of part 8. Someone asked what the vote was for and the reply was something like you'll have to ask our lawyer. I looked at the minutes and it showed Stopps' name. Any idea?
I don't know what the contract involves. I have submitted a request for a copy - it should be a public document. I think it mentioned Stoops since, as board chair, she would have been the person to speak to the issue. Because she wasn't there the task fell to Hamilton. They took the vote after they returned to open session following an executive session. Interesting that it was done on the advice of legal counsel and that they deferred all inquiries to him (Brian Hungerford). Perhaps they have hired another investigator or someone else made necessary by on-going complaints. This superintendent and his questionable behvaior is costing us a lot of money.
