I've heard that Joseph Hunter is trying to sue John Boyack for bringing up Mike Maloney's history on his blog and at last week's school board meeting. I'm not sure that will fly since everything Mr. Boyack relayed is a matter of public record. For any of you legal eagles out there, can it be defamation if its true? And I certainly hope that Hunter is not using district legal staff to investigate this. Why should we foot the bill to try to defend Mr. Maloney for something that happened before he even arrived in our district?
Personally, I find this rather alarming! It is my understanding that these people work for we the tax payers. We should be able to voice our concerns. It is unfortunate that staff and community members are intimidated into submission by these people. It is time to stand up and say, "Enough!" After reading Mr. Boyack's thoughts and hearing his speach to the school board I have come to the conclusion that there has been no wrong doing on his part. The parties with the problem are the school board and those they have hired. They have violated our trust. And to think they are responsible for our most valuable possessions... our children. Very disappointing news indeed!
ReplyDeleteWhere can we read Mr. Boyack's Blog? Now that I know he is a target, I think i need to read what he has to say.

Unbelivable! Hunter isnt doing enough wrong in the district that he has to add selfish, vindictive behavior towards one of the communities most upstanding and involved families in the district?
ReplyDeleteEverything that was stated was public record, and well researched - something that should have been done by the board in the first place.
How many more times is he going to cross the line of trust and accountability before the board does their JOB and fires him - if they dont do it soon, the community may do it for them, and they may find themselves fired right along with him.
